The authors of the ranking (Times Higher Education World University Rankings) sought to assess the level of cooperation between universities and industrial organizations.
Universities are compared separately on four indicators (for each indicator presented 15 leading universities):
- Resources from Industry
- Industry collaboration
- Patent citations
- Industry contribution
Required data for indicators Industry collaboration and Patent citations were obtained from the system Scientometrics Scopus.
